Board of Directors
Mike Preston - President
Mike Preston has lived in Ocean Shores for 10 years with his wife Donna and Jack Russell Terrier Char. Char was rescued from North Beach PAWS. He likes living this close to the Ocean so he can take Char for a romp on the sand. He can't remember how he got involved with Woof-a-thon but it seemed like such a good cause, helping local dog related charities that he just stuck around. Besides the event itself is a lot of fun. Obviously he enjoys going to the beach with Char and he is also an avid motorcyclist. He's a member of the local radio board, a member of the Elks club, he rides with the Patriot Guard Rides, and he is an actor with Stage West Community Theater.

Founder - in memorium
Wilma Spike - Wilma and Pearl. Both known for the Woof-a-Thon. Wilma as the founder of the event, and Pearl as the "logo dog". Every year is bigger and better but it takes a village of volunteers to run the event, Wilma said. I'm so thankful for everyone who helps make this the most fun day of the year for your dog and you, and also makes it a great fundraiser for needy animals. Thanks to all who work and all who come and all who contribute. Appreciate it!
